Efforts to dehumanize others (through sexism, patriarchy, slavery, greed) existed before Christianity and exist where Christianity isn’t around to weaponize for their purposes. Yes, Christianity has been used to prop up these demonic systems, but it cannot be blamed for their existence.

However, the counter-movements to these systems (human and civil rights, feminism, abolition, even LGBTQ rights movements) could not have existed without the Christian faith (or, more precisely, the life-death-resurrection of Jesus).
